Create your first event
Set up a ticketed event with a date, venue, and public page

In TicketCommittee, everything you run — a ticketed event, a waiver, a silent auction, or a raffle — is a campaign. This article walks through the most common one: a Ticketed Event.
Start a new campaign
Section titled “Start a new campaign”- Go to Campaigns and click New campaign.
- On the Campaign Type screen, choose Ticketed Event.
Fill in the event details
Section titled “Fill in the event details”| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Event Name | The name buyers will see, like “Spring Gala 2026”. |
| Description | What the event is, who it’s for, and anything buyers should know. |
| Custom URL | The end of your event’s public link. Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. |
| Start Date & Time | When the event begins. |
| End Date & Time | Optional. When the event ends. |
| Venue Information | Optional. Venue name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code. |
Recurring events
Section titled “Recurring events”Turn on Is this a recurring event? if your event happens on multiple dates and buyers should pick which one to attend — for example, a play with several performances.
When everything looks right, click Create Ticketed Event.
What’s next
Section titled “What’s next”Your event is created but not on sale yet. Next:
- Add ticket types so buyers have something to purchase.
- Connect Stripe so you can accept card payments.
- Publish your event from Settings → Publishing when you’re ready to go live.
